I'm trying to reinstall MsOffice 2000. My hard drive
crashed due to a virus. Had to install a new drive.
NOthining could be salvaged from the old drive. I had
discarded my previous versions years ago. Now what?

If you have an upgrade version of ANYTHING you must keep the old CDs... they
become part of the license of the new version.

Now you have several options.... purchase an upgrade version of Office XP or
Office 2003... and use your Office 2000 upgrade as the previous qualifying
version...
or
look for an old version of Office (95 or 97) on EBay and use that as the
previoius qualifying version for your current upgrade Office2000.

The previous qualifying version does NOT have to be installed first.
