No [right/left ect.]-margin:'s?

Is this true - that Frontpage does not support any
right/left/top/bottom-margin in css? I spent hours earlier trying to find
out how to position a simply layer/div - with properties of "left-margin:25%
; right-margin: 100px"

I was astonished that I am only able to define styles, layers, and tables
with pixel counts.

No it is not true & FP doesn't care what css you use
- other than is uses IE to render some CSS in design view

It's the browsers that may not support your css
- file preview in browser (not all support your margins)

You can use percent, em, ex, en, or any metric you desire for any of the CSS
measures. But FP's UI into them is weak. I prefer to do this work by
hand....

I mean the actual program - or the user interface as Murray stated. There
seems to be NO way to enter %, ex, distance or whatever - for margins or
placements. And - I use this all the time - from paragraphs to layout. And
when I do type in a % for a position, FP converts it to px. I think Fp
doesn't care - because it just ignores you! I don't know about Dreamweaver -
but each day I wish I bought DW4 - and how it handled that issue - but I
consider it a major design flaw.

Dreamweaver's interface into CSS styling is MUCH more robust (in my
opinion), and allows you to use any such units. But I have to say, I have
not seen what you are describing. I just edited the properties of a layer,
and made its left position be 5em, and its top position be 20%, and FP took
it just fine.

I am talking about left and right values. For instance - try the left to me
5em and the right to be 20%. It'll ignore the right value.

It doesn't for me. This code works exactly as expected -

<div style="position:relative; height: 100px; z-index: 1; left: 5em; top:
20%; margin-left: 120px; margin-right: 25%; background-color: #FFFF00"
id="div1">
&nbsp;</div>
