Could someone please help me. When I click on to FP I get
the above message. I am unable to access anything. Could
you please explain what this means and how I can rectify
the problem.
Cheers

You don't say which FrontPage and Windows versions,
but a common cause of this is Running Yahoo IM, as it
claims port 80 for it's P2P file sharing feature. If you have
it shut it down and try.

Thanks for your reply Steve, that's not the problem I'm
afraid.
I'm running FP98 on Windows 2000 Pro, any other thoughts.

FrontPage 98, by default, uses a personal web server that is installed when
you install FP 98. However, Win2K Pro doesn't support the PWS. Instead, it
uses IIS as the web server, which must be installed from the add/control
panel along with the FP sever extensions. Then, you would need to do a
custom install of FP98 so you don't install the PWS or extensions that come
with it.

IIS will use port 80 by default.
