No site is created when a new project is saved

Bashar Adas

Hi
I faced this problem recently;the Ms office project web
access keeps telling me that the sharepoint site for the
newly created project hasn't been created.

here is the steps to produce it .
1.use ms project professional to create a new project
then publish it to the project server
2.login to the project web access as administrator
3.click the Projects menu item to make the projects list
appear.
4.click the project's link in the list.
5.When the web page for that project appears; click
the "Go to current project workspace ([project name])"
link.
6 an error message appears telleing me that:"The
Sharepoint site for this project has not been created.
Publish a project to the project server or contact your
server administrator.

When i go to admin then manage windows sharepoint
services then click the manage sharepoint sites; no link
apears beside the project.

Do yo want to provision a SharePoint subweb for every project? If so, then:

1) Go to [Admin] tab in PWA.
2) Click [Subweb provisioning settings].
3) Under _Settings_for_subweb_creation_, make sure the
radio button "Automatically create a subweb for the
project when a project is published in Microsoft Project
Web Access.' is selected. If not, select it and click the
[Save Changes] button at the bottom.
If you only want to create subwebs for some projects:

1) Go to [Admin] tab in PWA.
2) Click [Manage subwebs].
3) Select the project you want to create the subweb for
from the drop-down labeled "Provision a subweb for:" and
click the [Create Subweb] button.
4) Once the subweb has been created, you'll probably
need to click on the row it shows up in within the
datagrid and select [Synchronize users] to make sure that
all of your resources have access to [Documents] and
[Issues].
