No sizing handles for text boxes

I use Visio 2007. I'm familiar withthe use of handles to resize shapes.

However, if I select text, the text box has no handles - only a faint dotted
line. (The leader line handles are shown.)

Please advise.

You need to use the Text Block Tool. It is behind the Text icon (the letter
A) on the tool bar. To the right of the icon is a drop down arrow which will
give you access to the Text Block Tool.
