no sound notifying when receiving new message

That's controlled by the New Mail Notification entry in the Sounds Tab in
Sound and Audio Devices Properties in Control Panel.

That does not work/ help - probably need to edit register (regedit) for
Outlook but how?

that's how it is controlled. try a new sound there or check your sound
settings. You don't need to edit the Registry.

Sounds are working well but still I can't get any sound notice when receiving
a new mail. In outlook I have defined that pc would play a sound when
receiving a new mail but no sound...

What type of account? Are messages going to your default Inbox?

And are messages being delivered to your default Inbox or do you have rules
moving them to other folders? If the messages are not going to your default
Inbox, you will not receive a sound alert for a new message.
