Hey all, I'm new to Mac from PC so apologies for probably asking a dumb question;

When I want to attach a jpeg to an email I'm unable to see a thumbnail and therefore unable to see which jpeg is the one I want to attach. What am I missing???

Thanks

If you change to three column view and highlight an image, you may see
a preview to the right.

The button for three column view is above the folder list and looks
like three vertical rectangles.

Hi mate, thanks for your reply. I've got this far but just see a JPEG logo with file details, there's no preview of the picture itself??

I just browsed through a large selection of images of various types
created by various programs. All of them showed me a preview.

This is actually a function of the Mac OS rather than Entourage.
Perhaps it's a difference between 10.5 and 10.4? Unfortunately this is
not an area in which I am well-versed.

In Leopard there is a QuickLook view that shows you the image or fine
without having to open it. In Tiger you'll need to open in an application. I
suggest Preview that's installed by Apple in the application folder.

Since you have a PPC, Leopard might be the last OS you can install. It's not
clear if Snow Leopard will run on a PPC. If it does, I would skip Leopard
and upgrade to Snow Leopard when it's released.

Cheers and Welcome to Mac! I have a few tips and links posted to help new
users here:
