Subject: Form Not Searchable
Date: January-30-08 3:57 PMidon;t have any idle

I'm hoping this is a simple issue but not sure how to track it down in
Access. I have a form needs to show a specific record and the filter seems
to
be correct. During trouble shooting I found that the form does not seem to
have any records associated with it.

The query runs correctly and shows all records. I've also tried to strip it
down to the table but the form will not display the records in the Record
Source.

I've been checking for some kind of lock or limitation but can't seem to
find the settting.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

Hi Jean,
I appreaciate the humor .

I've created a new form and it works perfectly. I just can't seem to find
what is locking this other form from viewing records.

Are you saying that Access will create a form that cannot be changed and
will always be locked? Or are you saying that too many variables exist and
it's difficult to track down.

Thanks for the help...............

Turns out that the error was in the query and was not returning a record that
matched the criteria.

By running the query separately, I was able to track down error.
