Non-Active Directory users/resources in PS 2007

When adding a new user or resource I get the option to go with Windows auth.
or Forms auth. I assumed using Forms auth. would solve the issue (the issue
being entering a non-AD user) but where do I enter a password for this
user/resource? Doesn't this work like PS 2003?

Also when I add a non-AD user can the user connect to PS using MS Project
Pro? The answer to this question was no in the 2003 version.

No, Forms Authentication does not work anything like Project Server 2003.
To set up Forms Authentication, refer to the following article:

I think you will find that setting up Forms Authentication is no simple
process. Hope this helps.
