non-english characters in object names

Domac

Hi,

I am developing solution in access 97 and I have some migration problems.

How to rename object names and all references in whole database???

Developer before me had used croatian accent characters, everything worked
fine until I executed code under WindowsXP, now access does not show
croatian characters but some hieroglyphs.

Please help me via mail!!
Thanks a lot!

Hi Domac,

I've not had precisely this situation, but it sounds like a font issue.
Have you checked that the fonts used on the older system are available
in your Windows XP installation?

Anyway, these are the usual tools recommended for renaming objects:

Find And Replace www.rickworld.com
Speed Ferret www.moshannon.com
Total Access Analyzer www.fmsinc.com

All seem to have good reputations, though I've used Speed Ferret most
and Find and Replace not at all.
