Non-excel related problem about thumbnails

I apologize first if it's prohibited to post a question unrelated to
Excel but this is driving me crazy. In the past, I was able to view
jpeg thumbnails in preview mode. Now I just have thumbnails with an
icon of the default program that will open it when you double click on
it. Does anyone know how to fix this? I don't want to open every file
to find the picture that I need. I've been searching online but can't
find any solution either... Any help?? :confused:

Do you mean browsing in Windows?

If so, go to the menu bar in the browsing window and select
"View" -> "Thumbnails"

I'm actually already viewing by thumbnails so I already did what yo
suggested. My question is how come the thumbnail (the 1in x 1in icon
doesn't show a preview (basically a small picture) of the real picture
This only happens with my jpeg files. Like in the same folder i
thumbnail view, I can see a preview of a PDF file in the 1" x 1" icon
I don't know if I'm explaining it well enough or not

I don't have an answer, but you may find an answer using one of the windows
newsgroups--or even searching google???
