Non Functional Keyboard

I had problems with my keyboard,on my reserve PC, which was typing some
wrong characters. (vide posting on the 20th instant) In accordance with the
advice I got I changed the language from USA english to English english and
although I tried it then and everything worked properly, now I find that I
cannot type at all anywhere. What could have gone wrong and how do I correct
it?

The keyboard came unplugged from the computer or broke. Perhaps contact
a repair shop if you are not successful fixing it.

I use the Duette, so if there were any breakages I would not be able to use
it now on this computer. The matter resolved itself when I restarted the
computer this morning. So why it first occurred only Microsoft will know!
