Non-printing drawings?

I'm making a new CD label template for Word. I've got my two circles set up, but want to make them non-printing somehow so that I can use them for alignment, but not have them come out on the pages. Is there any way to do this without deleting them each time before I print?

Word is very poor at producing this type of document. Why don't you save
yourself a lot of grief and look at Surething CD Labelling software. It is
cheap and outstandingly good.

Yes, you can make the circles non-printing by clicking on Tools |
Options | Print | uncheck the "Drawing Objects" box. But doing this
will also prevent printing of any drawing objects that are part of your
CD label.

This is how I my CD label template: I created a page setup with a
different first-page header ( File | Page Setup | Layout | Headers and
footers: Different first page ). I opened the header ( View | Header
and Footer ), drew the two circles where I wanted them on the page, and
closed the header. In the main document, I inserted images and text
boxes overlaying the circles in the header. When I was done, I put my
cursor at the beginning of the document and inserted a manual page break
( Ctrl+Enter ). At this point, the circles are on page 1, and the CD
labels are on page 2. When printing, I print only page 2.

Hope this helps.
