noobie questions?

hello everbody!

got a couple of questions, while helping to format the diploma
of my girlfriend.

- i´m desperatly trying to save all images from a doc-file
to a folder. they are all implemented as tiff and i want to attach
them as jpeg.

- the doc is allready 60 MB big, is there a chance to reduce
this size with tools or is word able to do it by it´s own?

You can use Paint for this. Open the tiff files with Paint, than Save As
jpeg.
