Normal.dot and autotext

I have always been able to save large blocks of autotext to my normal.dot
until recently. Now I have to open it exclusively to save any new autotext I
create or amendments to existing. I have Office XP on my machine for the
last 12 months.

Any answers would be greatly appreciated???

Rename normal.dot to oldnormal.dot. Restart Word to allow it to build a new
default template, then use the organizer to copy your autotext entries etc
from the old template to the new one.
