I have a user that when she saves a document in Word 2000
and then goes to close the document or the application, 2
boxes come up.
One says: file normal.dot already exists. Do yo want to
replace the existing file?
The other: Changes have been made that affect the global
template normal.dot. Do you want to save the changes.
We have tried saying No to these and it still happens, so
we tried Yes and still pops up.
Can anyone tell me what to look for to fix this. It is
only with this one user.
She does not have the "save Normal Template" box checked
under Tools, Options, Save tab. She also does not have
the Works Suite add-in installed. These were 2 items I
found in the Knowledge base articles.
