Normal.dot in Startup

We will soon be upgrading to Office 2007 thru SMS. Since many of our users
have cutom toolbars and macros in Word 2003 I was thinking of creating a
batch file to copy the normal.dot to the Office 2007 Startup folder and add
this batch file to the OCT so that when users finish running the Office 2007
upgrade the macros and the custom toolbars would be available to them right
away after when they open Word.
Is this fine to do? What are the consequences of using this step, if any?

Thanks.

I would name the template something other than Normal.dot. Second, I would
use the user's Startup folder instead of the Office 2007 Startup folder
since it's no longer considered a Trusted Location by default and they will
encounter the macro warning each time they start Word.
