hi,
my search is not functioning. When i look at my site
in "Web Site" view my _derived folder is not there. Nor
is it on my remote site. but when i go to file|open it
does show the _derived folder there. I tried to import
it and copy and paste but i am getting a message
stating "directories with website configuration
information will not be imported" can someone help me fix
this problem?

The _derived folder is hidden, it will never be seen while in FP. Also it has nothing to do with the
search component.

You should always open your web first via File Menu | Open Web / Site and import any images or files
into this open web prior to creating or working with your web content.

FP webbot component require that you are publishing the web to a server that has the FP extensions
installed as in http://www.yourdomainname.com and that you are viewing the site via
http://www.yourdomainname.com
