Not a Valid Win32 application all of Office 2000 Programs

I recently did a virus search using spybot now it appears as if myWhole
Office Suite in lo longer working. I can not access Excell or Outlook. I keep
receiving the not a valid win32 application error message. I have tried
reinstalling office but it does not help. Do I need to uninstall the whole
thing first. I am a little leary as I no longer have my Win98 disk and not
sure if I would need it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
