Not able to display UTF-8 character in Mail Subject "Să ΜποÏÏŽ Příl

Not able to display UTF-8 (Romanian, Greek and Turkish... language) character
in SUBJECT line of mail (Microsoft Outlook).

When we try to send UTF-8 character through mail BODY and SUBJECt, UTF-8
character displays properly in BODY part, but in SUBJECT UTF-8 character are
not displaying properly.

This problem happens only when we view the mail thru MS outlook. When we
view the same mail thru browser, UTF-8 characters are properly displayed in
SUBJECT and BODY. My machine is installed with English- US localization.

I guess there is problem with MS outlook mail client.

I am using Java to send the mail, I am confident Java mail sends the UTF-8
character properly, I have tested this by using the Mail header field SUBJECT
(in MS outlook, View>Options) this contains value as per RFC2047.

Besides this I don’t think there should be any issue with Font. As we can
see clearly the UTF-8 character properly in BODY, only we are not able to see
in SUBJECT. If there is an issue with font then UTF-8 character should not
display at all.

I am trying to display following character, “Să ΜποÏÏŽ Příliš†(I really
don’t know what is meaning of this characters) both in subject and body of
mail. You should be able to see it properly in BODY but in SUBJECT UTF-8
character are replaced with “?â€. If you view the same mail thru browser
characters will display properly in both SUBJECT and BODY.

Appreciate your help in advance.
