Not able to open OLE's in Outlook

Hi,

Im new to MS outlook. Iam using 2002.

I have worked with Lotus Notes before and if I copy a part of let's say
Excel sheet and do edit paste special ( as a OLE - Ms excel worksheet
format) in to my lotus Notes memo and send it then the receiving person
could double click on the pasted table and it would open up in excel format.

But when I do the paste special as OLE (excel document range) in Outlook
then the receiving person (irrespective of 2002 or 2003) is not able to open
up in excel format. It remains as a image kind of file.

Strangely if the receiving person presses Forward on a mail which has OLE in
it then s/he can enter in to edit mode where excel is within Outlook. (This
feature is available in Lotus as well).

Doesnt Outlook offer one the ability to Open a OLE in INBOX as a separate
Excel document.
