not active sheet workbook shrinks in size

I have two workbooks open and I am comparing them. Each is on its own
screen. When I select the workbook on the main screen the workbook
window on the second screen shrinks in size to less then 1/4. HOW DO
I STOP THIS BEHAVIOR?

With both workbooks open, choose Windows-Arrange from the menu. Select
tiled, horizontal, or whatever you want. Now they'll stay put when you
switch between them.
