Not adding files to Most Recent list?

For some reason, Excel 2000 stopped adding files to the Most Recently Used
list which appears under the file menu? How do I get this back?

Any chance you just turned on TweakUI?

Look at Tools>Options>General and see if the MRU option has been unchecked
or if the # of files entries has been set to 0

Dave - as far as I know, I don't have TweakUI on my system! I know our IT
group does updates every week or so - I wonder if they messed with the
registry option.

The MRU files will be kept in the registry. If you can't write to the registry
(because of your IT folks), then you won't be able to update that list.
