I've used the import feature to import a web-site I't
like to make some changes to. A few of the pages won't
import, along with the midi files linked to them. Any
idease? Thanks!

If the server has FrontPage extensions installed,
you need to open it in FrontPage and "Publish" it
to your computer.

Otherwise, FTP it to your computer.

You don't want to import a web site to make changes to it. Importing is
simply the process of making HTTP requests for files and getting the
response back as a file, very similar to what Internet Explorer does, except
that instead of saving the files in the Temporary Internet Files folder, it
saves them to a folder you specify. In any case, it doesn't import the web
site, with all of it's supporting files and folders, and it's server
extensions, _vti files, folders, etc. What you want to do is open the remote
web site in FrontPage and publish it to your local machine.

Hi GR,

I don't know why those pages will not import but I would not recommend doing
so as a lot of information is lost in the process. I would recommend that
you create a disk based web on folder contain the web pages then publish to
the web that you're importing to.
