not allowed to edit powerpoint presentation b/c of embedded fonts

I was given a powerpoint presenation to use in my classroom. When I try to
open it a pop up comes up and says I am not allowed to edit the presenation
because of the presentation contains read-only embedded fonts. I already
have these fonts on my system. The presenation does not allow me to do a
"save as" either under a different name. Does anyone know how I can edit
this file. Thanks.
