not compatible with this version of Personal Folders information s

I exported an Outlook 2002 mailbox to a pst file. I also had another exported
mailbox that was a pst file from Outlook 2000.

On a new machine with Outlook 2002 I copied both pst files. I opened the
Outlook 2000 pst file fine. It is 1Gb in size. The Outlook 2002 pst file is
..5Gb but gives me the message "The file C:\Documents and Settings\lorena\My
Documents\Old Mail\MTNbackup.pst is not compatible with this version of the
Personal Folders information service. Contact your administrator."

What does this mean as my administrator has no idea.

Exporting and importing PSTs is fraught with problems if not done exactly
correctly and can lose data. The way to transfer a PST from one Outlook
instance to another is, with Outlook stopped, to just copy the PST to the
new machine, making sure you don't overwrite another PST with the same name,
and then use File>Open>Outlook Data File (or Personal Folders File,
depending on the version). All your data will then be accessible.
