"not enough available memory"

Hi:

I'm getting the following error when trying to send a .doc
as an attachment "out of memory or system resources"
I have plenty of available ram 256+ and about 35G free on
my hd drive. My pagefile is about 1.2 gig.

Anyone have a clue as to why i'm getting this error?
