I bought a new Macbook and Office 2008 two weeks ago. I had no problems until today. When I try to open Excel and when I try to open any Excel files I receive a message that says not enough memory. All other Office programs work fine. Thanks for any help.

Hi MS;

The first question is: Did you update Office when/after you installed it? If
the software was pre-installed it most likely hasn't been updated & the
AutoUpdate feature has probably been left on Manual.

Before anything else launch any Office app, go to Help> Check for Updates &
set it for Monthly while you're there. Once the updates have been applied
run Disk Utility - Repair Disk Permissions & see if the problem persists.

If it does, reply back with more detail about the source & content of the
files that are presenting the error. How much RAM do you have?
