Not Enough Memory

S

Stacey Crowhurst

Hi. My database was chugging along just fine until one day...
It began to tell me "There isn't enough memory to perform this operation.
Close unneeded programs and try the operation again" when I tried to open a
form.
I closed all programs except for Access and the error still popped up. It
only happens to a handful of my twenty or so forms. Any suggestions as to
how I can fix this?

Thanks ever so much!
Stacey

How big are the tables that the forms are linked to?
I'd try to design your forms so that they only read one record at a time.

Hopefully you have a relatively recent backup copy of your
application because it sounds like you have a corrupt form
(maybe more than one). Of the few forms that won't open,
do they all have something in common, like a particular subform?
If so, it may be that subform that is causing the problem. If you
have a good backup you can delete the form (or forms) and import
new ones.

Here are a couple of links with more detailed information about
corruption and solutions.
