Not going into send folder

when sending a message it is not showing up in my sent
but goes into by outbox and then disappears...help

Check the view on your sent items folder. Make sure it's not being set to
Unread Items only.

Occasionally, an e-mail with an MPEG or other attachment
continues to send over and over again, hundreds of times,
every 2 minutes or so. This will be in the outbox, but
never gets to the sent folder. Even when I delete it from
the outbox, it will sometimes start up sending again
later, this time showing up in neither the outbox nor
sent folders. As you can imagine, this is a crisis! Is
there some kind of signal that tells either outlook or
the isp that the message was sent successfully and tells
it to stop. Could that signal be messed up? Thanks. Rich

in the tools menu click options one of the tabs has some
opitions to check to enable. If your save in the sent
file is not checked this is your problem
