"Not in Expected Format" Error

When I try to export my query results, using the
TransferSreadsheet function in a Macro, to an existing
excel spreadsheet the Error comes up that the "External
Table is not in the expected format". I am using Access 97
and Exporting to Excel 97. Does anyone know what the
problem could be?
