I have all of a sudden not been able to open ANY of my
word files. Gives me a triangle with exclaimation mark
saying "The file (my file name here) is not available"
everytime I try to open a file! Even one I just created!
Also it is giving me the same triangle thing when I try
to close Word, telling me "The file NORMAL already
exists. Do you want to relpace the existing file?" This
is happening everytime I try to close Word, after not
being able to open a file in the first place. It will
open a new page and let me add stuff, but after saving
it, it will not open again on this computer. I can open
them just fine on my laptop. Using Word 2003
Professional, on Windows XP. The problems seemed to
start about the time I added the updates for XP, could
this be the problem? I have uninstalled Office and
reinstalled, to no avail.
Thanks for any help.
