Not opened in "Print View"

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Processor: Power PC I created a template with a header and a footer. Header contains company logo and footer the "fine print". I saved the template in "Print View".

I frequently mail text scripts to my costumers.

When opened in Word 2003 Windows the header and footer are not visible unless my costumer choose to view it in "Print View".

If the settings of their Word 2003 is default (The first view in the row. Don't know the english name of it) header and footer are not visible.

How can I force their Word to open my documents in Print View?

Or is there any other solution to my problem?

Word opens any document in the view in which it was last saved.

So if you saved the document in Print Layout View, it will initially open on
the recipient's computer in that view.

They can, of course, override this function, but doing so is quite complex
and most users would not know how. So the first time they open your
document, it will open in the view you last saved it.

If this is not suitable, then save the document as a PDF file and send that.
The PDF file always shows the document as if it had been printed: the
headers and footers are always visible.

Hope this helps
