I have PP 2002 and when I click the "Insert Picture" icon (from within a
format placeholder) and select my photo from the file chooser, the picture
gets placed in the middle of my slide and in full size. At some point in the
past I was able to do this and the photo would get resized and placed within
the bounds of the format placeholder.
Just a few days ago a message came up and asked be something about my clip
gallery. I approved this operation and PP took several minutes to whatever it
wanted to do with the clip gallery. It now seems that after that event I
started having the above mentioned problem.
