Email Client: Exchange

When I try to access the contact list in our Exchange server I never obtain any address. For example creating a new mail, adding addresses and selecting 'global address list'.

I've setup the account with same server for Exchange, LDAP and public folders. Maybe something is wrong with this configuration, how can I check which are right names ?

The LDAP server address in your Exchange account settings must point to
a special type of server called a Global Catalog server. Verify your
address that you're using.

Also, if you are trying to access the GAL outside of your company
network then you cannot do this. The GAL will typically be available
only while on your company network.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

Problem solved: I supposed that all of our domain controllers where also Global Catalog server but this was not true.

After selecting the right LDAP server now I can see all Exchange contacts and groups.

Thanks !!!
