I'm trying to find a simple stock ticker to add to my site. So far I've
tried 6 different ones and none of them seem to work. Anybody got one that
works? A simple Java Applet one or something?

Are you sure they are not working or is it that you don't have the Java
Virtual Machine (JVM) installed on the machine?
