"Not Responding" - Can't Send E-mail

M

Mike Billings

Hi all,

This is my second attempt at posting something.

Microsoft wants to charge me an arm and a leg to get any
help.

Here's the problem. I have MS Office XP installed on
Windows XP. I can open and read e-mail in Outlook just
fine and dandy BUT when I try to send something the
program says "Not Responding" and locks up. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled it but it still doesn't work.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME!??!?!!?!???

Thanks,

Mike

Sure - post your account connection settings, what your ISP told you to do
for your connection setting, and what your exact error message is.

Trust me, for what Microsoft charges for Tech Support, you ARE getting a
bargain. I charge a lot more for my paying customers and have a waiting
list.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Mike Billings

I have the same problem. Out of the blue Outlook locks up
if I hit the forward or reply button, click an attachment
to open it with another program like Excel or even write a
new email with word. I tried the "Detect and Repair"
button under Help and lost all my addresses, emails, and
schedule info. (Still trying to restore backups and having
the same problem anyway.). Anybody have a solution?
