I have Outlook XP on Windows 2000. I have all the patches
and updates. My outlook has occasionally given me problems
no longer showing the email in view that is clicked on,
and other little quirks. I can usually close outlook and
re-open it to make it work. Occasionally I need to reboot
to get it back. Last week I had to tranport from one
network sign-in to another, and some errors occurred in
importing the pst. The contacts showed up from clicking on
contacts in the side bar, but when I clicked the address
book to choose a contact in a message I received the
message that there were no addresses. Loading and
reloading did not work, so I did the restore to orginal
state and re-imported the pst. That worked, BUT now I get
the problems with it not working all the time and having
to close down to reopen it, again. It keeps saying it
didn't open properly and will open in safe mode, but it
never opens. It's just a constant not responding. I
uninstalled, reinstalled, took all office back to
original. NOTHING WORKS. I installed the updates. NO good.
