Not seeing Windows XP Style on an Access Database

J

Jeannie S

HI
I have Windows XP, Office 2003. I work on multiple Access Databases. I
have my computer's appearance set to Windows XP Style. All my databases
appear with this style with the exception of one of them. Can anyone think
of a reason why a single database would not display in the Windows XP style,
even thought others on the same computer do?
Thanks, Jeannie

A database that was created in an older version may not use the XP style.

You could probably work around that by creating a new database and importing
everything.

Presumably you do have the box checked under:
Tools | Options | Forms/Reports | Use Windows Themed Controls.

From the Tools menu, select Options, select the forms Forms tab, and check
the 'Use Windows Themed Controls On Forms' option. This is a 'per database'
option, you can have it set differently for multiple databases on the same
system.
