Not sure?

Hello,
I am in the process of tracking down the best way to build
a shopping cart system in FP 2003. Here are my questions
please?

1) Once the cart is constructed how is this linked to the
credit card company or merchant account?
2) Or is the processing company of the merchant the one
who provides the cart to install in the web?
3) Where can an amateur(like me) web builder get the best
solution to a cart?

Fortunately I have been very accustomed to FP which helps
but I am willing to go the extra mile to get this Project
done.
Thanks to all who can help!
Joe

I would suggest you look at Paypal's solution for FrontPage:
http://www.auctionmessenger.net/paypal/

Otherwise, do a search on Google for ecommerce or shopping carts. It is
very complex, and requires many elements and expense that may not be
suitable for an "amateur".
