Notebook sections on left

I wiped & reinstalled XP on my PC after saving the data. I copied my OneNote
folders back and started the program. I was in a hurry, behind after the
reinstall, and it asked me a question and I said yes. Dont recall what it
asked, but now the notesbooks are on the left as always, but I lost the bands
that separated the notesbooks making them harder to recoginze, since the
notebooks and sections are the same size. How do I get the fat notebook
bands on the left back? Now I just have bands that say: OneNote Notebooks
(with all notebooks); Unfiled Notes : all notebooks.

Thanks in advance

Is there a chevron (a button that has >> or <<)? Pressing that should make
the full Notebooks list appear.

Mmmmh ... I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly ...
But what about just clicking the double arrow showing to the left,
located at the top of the navigation bar ?
