Notes Button not working in Navigation Pane - Outlook 2003

I can not view notes when selecting the Notes Button in the Navigator Bar.
There is no folder showing up under the My Notes section, and I am not
getting a selection of appropriate views to choose from. When I select the
Notes button I continue to see whatever I was looking at before selecting the
button.

If I go to shortcuts and select my notes folder I can see the notes, but I
can not find a way to "attach" the view to the Notes button.

G'Day Ebw,

Display the Folder List in the Navigation Pane.

Right-Click the 'Notes' Folder, and select "Add to My Notes".

Pat,
Thanks for trying to help me out...when I right click the 'Notes' folder I
do not have a selection for "Add to my Notes". Any idea why I would be
missing this option?

See if starting Outlook with the /cleanviews switch added to the path helps.
Use if the switch and others can be found in Help by searching for "command
line switches".

Bill,
The /cleanviews command line switch did not work....however, the
/resetfolders did take care of the problem. It seems that the Notes folder
had been deleted from the My Notes section of the Navigation Bar.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
