Notes Folder Cannot be created

I have recently upgraded to Outlook 2007 from Ouutlook 2003 and everying is
fine apart from the 'Notes' page. If I click on this The right hand pane
simply displays a message 'Cannot display folder'. I can create new notes
folders with out any problem but If I cannot create entries in the default
Notes folder or copy entries to the default notes folder (if I do they simply
disappear)

Any ideas on how to fix the problem

Thanks

How did you perform the upgrade? Many times, the method used causes a corrupt profile (importing the .pst for example) and requires that you create a new one.

Control Panel->Mail Icon->Profiles->New. Do not copy the old one - it is corrupt. Configure the profile to use your current .pst file.

Thanks for the reply. I simply installed OutLook 2007 over the top of the
old Outlook 2003 environment (after backing up the pst file first). I will
try what you suggest as this sounds the safest way out of all this.

Thanks
