Notes missing from Outlook 2003 and also 2007

One of my users pointed out to me today that Notes has disappeared from the
Mailbox tree. When clicking on Notes in the Sidebar all that happens is a
change of view of the Inbox, the Notes are not displayed.

This is happening across several mailboxes and with people running Office
2003, I am running 2007 Beta and get the same.

We upgraded the Exchange server about a month ago from 2000-2003, an inplace
upgrade - I am not sure if this is connected in any way.

If I go to an old machine with Outlook XP on I CAN see the Notes and the
contents as expected.

Can anyone help/shed any light on this?

Thanks and regards

Chris

What happens if you create a new profile in Outlook? Same issue still?

I am on another machine therefore different profile and Notes is missing
also. This is another Office 2007 beta machine though.

Very odd.

If that profile is an upgraded profile from 2003, then you should really
make a new one in 2007. There is no point in troubleshooting this unless
you are working with a clean, new profile created in 2007.

The machine I am working on now is a completely new 2007 profile which
exhibits the same problem as the upgraded profile.

When you try Go menu, Notes nothing happens either?
What if you try to create a new Note (using the little arrow button next
to the new email symbol)? What happens then?
