Nothing prints on page from word or any ms office program

When I view my document it comes up fine,but when I print, either very light, uneven print or nothing comes out. What's up? I can't print from Entourage or Excel, either.

Try printing from Text Edit (or any page from your Safari browser) - the
program is found in your Aplications folder. If Text Edit is also printing
light or uneven it is most likely your printer cartridge that needs to be
replaced - cleaned.

For any printing related issues the first steps are:

Make sure OS X & the software (in this case Office) are fully updated,

Check the printer mfr's site to see if an updated driver is available.

As suggested in another reply it could also be a matter of an
empty/defective ink cartridge or other mechanical issue depending on the
type of printer.
