Notification Of Resource Pool Calendar Changes

We have several PMs (Project Managers) using one resource pool, and multiple
resources working across different PMs projects. If one PM updates a
resource's calendar (with a vacation or schedule change) this can throw off
the other PMs project plans. Is there anyway for Project to auto notify when
a change like this occurs so that plans won't be disrupted or changed
unnoticed?

No, there is no default way to set up auto-notification of an event like
this. Therefore, you need to make this a process issue. The one who
changes a resource calendar with vacation needs to notify everyone of the
change. By the way, I also recommend that he/she should always add a Note
to the resource to document the new vacation he/she added for the resource.
