Novell Groupwise and Office XP on the same machine

I am in a corporate environment where I need to run
Novell Groupwise 5.5EP (latest sevcie pack, but not ver
6.0) and Office XP on the same machine.

I use an IBM Thinkpad T30 running Windows XP with totally
current service packs, and would like to install Office
XP, SP2 simultaneously with Novell Groupwise 5.5EP with
the current service packs from Novell, but not version 6
of Groupwise.

I would also like to be able to use Intellisynch and
Active Synch 3.7 to get the calendar from Groupwise 5.5EP
and the contacts from Outlook 2002 to Pocket PC 2002
handheld. Will not try to download the email to the
WinCe device. Do not think there will be issues with the
Intellisynch if I can get the two programs to coexist on
the same machine.

Will I experience issues in this installation?

Is there a correct sequence for installing these products?

Outlook 2000 ran with Groupwise only by using an updated
Windows Messaging client. Is this required by Outlook
2002?

Any help greatly appreciated....

Bill

ActiveSync can synchronize only the user's default calendar and default contacts folders. If those are in two different data stores, as they may be with the GroupWise provider for Outlook, you'll run into a problem. You might want to post in the microsoft.public.outlook.interop newsgroup where someone with experience with Groupwise might be able to advise.

Thanks you for the response.

You are correct, but this is the purpose of the
Intellisync software package that handles this just fine,
if you have the two packages running on the same machine
simultaneously. My real question revolves around the
installation of these two packages on the same machine.
I will take you advice and post the inquiry on the
interop site also.

Thanks Again....Bill
