ns office 2007 download problem

Help. I downloaded the software and then was told "When the download is
complete, initiate the installation by double
clicking the first file that you downloaded. Follow the prompts to
complete the installation".

No idea how to do this - please can anyone help with some VERY BASIC
instructions!

Use Windows Explorer to navigate to where you downloaded the files to, and
double-click on the first file.

Gordon, thanks for the reply, but i have nt a clue how to find where the
files downloaded to! I need the kind of instreuctions your dog would
understand!!!

Well only you know where you downloaded them to! Try looking on your
Desktop - that is quite often the place where files get downloaded to by
default.
What version of Windows are you using?

I'm using windows vista business. Got the download on email and clicked on
it and off it went. Nothing in my desktop or recent downloads file! Any
other suggestions?

I don't think you get the download link via email. You go to the trial
version website, and as part of the download process you have to give an
email address for the Product Key to be sent to.

It's a pretty big file. Are you SURE that you have downloaded a VERY large
file?

Then it must be somewhere on your computer.....

I've just gone into the Trial and it seems that the first file is an "exe"
file with the name like X12-99999-gb-DLM.exe
Do a search for files with X12 in....
