NTFS systems check

What is a NTFS systems check? It has started doing it when I turn on my
computer.
I did not authorize it. Pressing any key in 10 seconds will stop it.

It is a function of the operating system on your computer and it means
the harddrive has a problem and it is attempting to correct it. Have you
allowed it to complete the repair? If it continues to to do it all the
time, please post to a group for your operating system, rather than here
in the group for Office programs. Your "operating system" will be shown
