Null values?

I've created a query that caculates a number of records based on an IIF
statement. Now I'm summing these calculations (e.g. month 1, 2 and 3 should
sum to quarter 1) and it works perfectly as long as the initial calculations
contain something but when there are no values in of the months Access do not
return any value at the quaterly sum at all. Does anyone know how to solve
this problem?

Try and use the NZ function to solve that problem

Sum(NZ(FieldName,0))

NZ will replace the Null value with 0
